Regina Prager is an artist based out of Portland, Oregon. She grew up in Michigan, where her love for art and creating began in childhood. She started her business, Little Spooky Studio in 2017. On her Etsy shop she offers art prints, stickers, pins, and many other items, all with a spooky theme.

Make whatever makes you happy! Don't worry about what other people are creating, or followers on social media, or being left out. If you work hard you can make your dreams come true.

Regina was inspired to become an artist because of the self-expression that art allows for. “I think I've just always been drawn to [art]! Seeing how people choose to visually express themselves is really interesting to me, and I love how the medium options are endless.” Beginning her art career has enabled her to meet many great people in the art community, especially other artists who create using a spooky theme like herself. “We're considered odd with our obsession with the season, but together we are just happy to have others to share the love with. Whether online or at shows, I have met some of the coolest people on this journey!”

Regina’s favorite art piece is Edvard Munch’s “The Scream (Der Schrei der Natur),” which she resonates with. In her own work, she most enjoys drawing ghosts, but has a passion for "anything cute and spooky!” Her creative process is varied when it comes to finding inspiration for new projects. “Sometimes I'll look at the most random object, or remember something from my childhood, or feel some type of way and then all of a sudden, I can see the next thing I want to make.”

To aspiring artists, Regina advises to create for yourself; create what you want to, in your own way. “Make whatever makes you happy! Don't worry about what other people are creating, or followers on social media, or being left out. If you work hard you can make your dreams come true.”

Regina discovered Golden State Art through Amazon, but now shops directly from the Golden State Art website. "I buy all my backing boards and plastic sleeves from you to safely ship my prints and they are my favorite products.”

Regina is currently holding a community art/drawing contest over on her Instagram, @littlespookystudio. All artists of any medium are welcome to join, so be sure to enter the contest and follow her on Instagram! You can also purchase her artwork over on her Etsy shop, and connect with her on her Facebook page.
