Brian was inspired to begin creating art when he gifted a Patent Wall Art piece to his wife and brother-in-law. “I completed a Patent Wall Art gift for both my wife and brother-in-law featuring two of their grandfather's legacy published patents. I did it and they loved it. I then spent six months creating an initial inventory, then we hit the road introducing the public to the art that matches their areas of interest. We have been selling Patent Art since 2016.” As an artist, he enjoys interacting with customers the most in his work. “I really enjoy delivering a piece of my unique art that most people will cherish. I have a significant advantage over my online competitors since I get face-to-face input. I am always creating new offerings and I like the newest the best because I believe I am getting better with each new project. ”

As an artist he enjoys curating pieces to his customers’ specific wants and needs. “I like finding published raw art that matches my customers' keen area of interest. I transform this raw art into wall art they are proud to hang on their wall or to give to another as a gift.” When beginning a new project or piece, Brian is often inspired by his thoughts. “I give a great deal of thought before starting a new Patent Art project.” To aspiring artists, he encourages not being afraid to start at any age. “Don't let age stand in the way of taking the first step to share your art offerings. I was 66 when I became #ThePatentArtGuy. Now I am 71 and we are going as strong as ever.”

Brian found Golden State Art when searching for frames for his work. “I purchased products from this company during the five years that we sold photography. This company supplies frames that I am proud to sell to my customers. I love the individually boxed products. So do my customers.” Brian sells his products retail as well as custom work. “In addition to my retail sales, I do custom art for individuals, companies and other types of organizations.”
