Artist Spotlight: Paula Farino

Paula Farino is a professional painter based in Orlando, Florida and our Client Spotlight this week. Paula began painting professionally in 2011, and has since launched her website, www.paulafarino.com, where she sells original paintings on canvas and paper, as well as prints of her work.

Growing up Paula would watch her father, also an artist, paint. This experience inspired her to become an artist as well. “His influence sparked my love for painting.” Paula enjoys being an artist for what she is able to bring into people’s lives and homes through her work. “I get to give people a glimpse into the unseen realm and bring that piece of heaven into their home.”

The painting that Paula is most proud of is a painting from her “Emergence” Series. The piece is entitled “Emerging Voice” and depicts a galloping horse emerging. It represents her love for painting animals using differing elements to create a dynamic piece. “I enjoy painting both animals and architectural pieces incorporating both representational and abstract elements.” See more of the series here.

When starting a new piece, Paula is inspired by spiritual experiences and places. “I am inspired by dreams, visions, and heaven. I paint what I call “windows into the unseen.” She encourages aspiring artists to never stop painting and doing what they are passionate about.

Paula found Golden State Art online during her search for mat boards and packaging. She attributes the company for helping her in selling her art in a way that not only looks professional but is also affordable. “Golden State Art has helped me to package and sell quality, professional looking products at an affordable price.”

Paula is currently working on a series, “Architectural Dreamscapes,” which can be viewed on her website.
