Angeli Coover is a professional artist based in Hulett, Wyoming. A lifelong artist, Angeli began painting full time and became a professional artist 10 years ago. Her website, www.angelicoover.com, features her collection of artwork, biography, and more.
Angeli began creating art when she was a child. “I can remember at a very young age drawing with sticks on the ditch banks on the farm. I would draw houses, mountains, people, pets, and of course flowers.” She loves sharing her art with others and seeing the impact she is making in their lives. “The best thing about being an artist is seeing a collector's life being enriched by the work I do.”

Angeli loves each of her pieces and admires the work of several fellow artists. “I love all of the art I create and that is what keeps me at my easel. I also love several artists' work and the top favorites are Georgia O'Keeffe and Wolf Kahn.” She is exclusively a floral artist and is inspired by the colorful flora that she encountered during her childhood and continues to encounter. “I was raised on a vegetable farm in Colorado with the Rocky Mountains in the background. I think Colorful Colorado is what inspires my work. I am a studio painter. Colors in a bouquet, or flowers in my gardens, or if I am driving and see something that catches my eye I will photograph it and paint the scene.”

To aspiring artists, Angeli encourages following your heart. “Listen to that whisper in your heart and follow your passion. Your unique style will appear.” She found Golden State Art when looking for mat boards for her artwork online. “I order all my mats from you and found you through our mutual friend...google. Your mats make my art look beautiful. I love the selection of colors.”
